Lyra mixes streamlined elegance with a more personal "hand-drawn" look and feel. This is accomplished with its pastel colour palette that is accentuated by paper and pen backgrounds, as well as icons.

All that you would expect from a blog and more - on the homepage there are featured blog posts, RSS subscriptions, a bit about the author, recent headlines, comments and category listings, your twitter and flickr feeds, and a large tag cloud. On the blog posts, there is room for advertising and a "Similar posts" widget in the sidebar. Lyra also offers you the opportunity to change/rotate the header image between 4 different options.
