For the all who has been waiting for it (and emailing us) Lyra Theme is finally out and available for download. It’s quirky, “hand-drawn” theme to give your blog a more personal touch, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it!

Lyra mixes streamlined elegance with a more personal “hand-drawn” look and feel. This is accomplished with it’s pastel colour palette accentuated by paper and pen backgrounds and icons.

All you would expect from a blog. On the homepage there are featured blog posts, RSS subscriptions, a bit about the author, recent headlines, comments and category listings, your twitter and flickr feeds and a large tag cloud. Lyra also offers you the opportunity to change/rotate the header image between 4 different options.

With our new theme Lyra due for release soon, it’s time to begin formulating ideas for the next theme. Instead of just picking the theme style ourself though, we think it would be more beneficial to ask what you guys, the users of our themes, would like to see.

So please feel free to leave a comment with any ideas for a cool theme! For example, you might want to see a personal blog theme with a grungy style, or a news theme with a minimalist style…

Tell us what you want! And you never know what you might find in your Christmas stocking this year…

Final Weekend for cheap themes!

Just a quick note to anyone thinking about purchasing a theme… Now is the time! After this weekend, on Monday to be precise the themes will return to their original prices of $80 for a single license and $150 for a developer license.

In other news, you will be happy to hear that our next theme, Lyra is coming along nicely and should be available within a week.

Lyra is on the Horizon - a sneak preview…

Theme Galaxy has been open for a little over a week but we’ve already been hard at work putting together a new theme for you theme-hungry space cadets.

It will be called Lyra and is going to be another personal blog built in a similar mould to Andromeda. With Lyra though, the plan is to create a more personal theme, with more personal features such as the ability to display a feed of your favorite music via last fm and photos through Flickr.

The theme should be ready in a week or so, but for now here are some sneaky preview images for you to feast your eyes on.
